Jana and Cliff got engaged at Sparkling Hill Resort near Vernon earlier this year, so the hotel had special meaning to them already. The couple chose to skip the standard photograph outside the lobby, so we concentrated on capturing the beauty of the Okanagan that is evident in the rugged landscape surrounding the hotel. The sunny September weather ensured that we could spend lots of time outdoors, then we captured a few indoor photos of the gorgeous decor.

Wedding of Jana & Cliff at Sparkling Hill Resort
Saturday September 11th was a perfect wedding day. After a week of rain, we lucked out with a sunny day and photographed Jana and Cliff's ceremony on the terrace of Sparkling Hill Resort overlooking Lake Okanagan. A gorgeous location for a wedding.
Since Jana & Cliff live in Calgary, most of our correspondence took place by phone or email. We met Jana once before the wedding, but didn't meet Cliff until last weekend. When we finally saw them both together on their wedding day, it was pretty clear that they are in love.
The day was beautiful, everyone was relaxed, the flowergirl stole the show - it was a real pleasure sharing in their wedding day.
